Dr. Mark Faul Candidate for Hall County Commissioner - District 1
Dr. Mark Faul is a long-time Hall County resident, farmer, small business owner (winery), and public servant with experience in science, government administration, and higher education.
During a 25-year career as a senior scientist at the CDC, he created better heath outcomes for EMS processes, Trauma Services, reduction in Brain Injuries, reduction in Drug Overdose deaths, and fewer older adult Fall Injuries. He built a reputation for evidence-based decision making, cost effectiveness, strong ethical standards, and responsible management of public resources.
Dr. Faul has also served as an administrator for the Department of the Army and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Georgia. As the farmer behind the largest vineyard in Hall County, he has firsthand experience with land use, agriculture, and property rights, as well as practical knowledge of rezoning and development issues.
His priorities include responsible fiscal management, reasonable taxes, protection of property rights, improved infrastructure, and carefully managed growth that preserves the beautiful character and long-term sustainability of Hall County.
